Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot sat down to promote their new movie Red Notice on Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live without their co-star Ryan Reynolds.

Kimmel, 53, wondered why Ryan, 45, wasn't with them.

'Well Ryan he's got a thing,' said Dwayne, 49, who wore red pants, a turtleneck and maroon bomber jacket.

'He always has something,' said Gal, 36, who donned a black blazer with sequined pants.

A video monitor then showed that Jimmy's security guard Guillermo Rodriguez, 50, had stolen Ryan for his own rival 'The Guillermo Show.'

Guillermo's set consisted of an old sofa, a chocolate fountain, tinsel curtains and had a mariachi group for his show band. Guillermo also had two giant margaritas on his desk. When he welcomed Ryan to his show, he handed him one.

Jimmy then asked Guillermo what he was doing.

'What does it look like? I'm doing my show, Jimmy ' Guillermo said.

Jimmy asked Ryan why he wasn't on his show with his other co-stars.

'Guillermo asked me first and he has a chocolate fountain,' Ryan replied.

Jimmy told Guillermo that this was not very professional. He ignored Jimmy and started talking to Ryan, but called him Bryan, and asked him if he had fun being a famous actor. Ryan said he did.

'What kind of a question is that?' Jimmy said.

Gal and Dwayne said they thought it was a great question. Gal said she had never been asked that question before. Guillermo then started asking Gal and Dwayne if they had fun being famous actors and they said they did.

Jimmy asked Guillermo to stop stealing his guests.

Guillermo then put a bunny blindfold on Ryan and asked him to play a game of 'Bologna or Pantalones' where he put things in his hand and asked him to guess which  one they were. He then gave Ryan a T-shirt for playing the game.

'Guillermo this is the best T-shirt and the best talk show that I've ever been on,' Ryan told him.

Guillermo thanked him and said he would be right back with Dwayne and Gal who walked off Jimmy's set.

'They will be back,' said Jimmy as he went to a commercial.

The skit was just one part of Jimmy's entertaining interview with the actors on the show to promote their new action comedy movie.

When Dwayne and Gal first walked out and sat down Jimmy said 'I've never felt less attractive than I do right now. I feel like a lump.'

Dwayne shared with Jimmy that he had been really good friends with Gal for more than 10 years.

'This is how close we are literally just backstage right now. Before you introduced us I had my glass of tequila and I'm drinking it,' said Dwayne. He said then Gal came over and asked him if he was ready to do this and then stuck her finger in his tequila and tasted it and then said, 'Oh, that's good s***.'

'It is,' said Gal. 'I wanted to make sure it's good.'

She said that she wanted to see if Dwyane's tequila brand Teremana was delicious

'That's a real bond, especially considering because I don't know if you've heard but there's a pandemic going on,' said Jimmy.

When they came back from the commercial, Jimmy played a clip from their new movie of the two of them dancing. Gal said that they practiced and that Dwayne was like a ballerina.

Jimmy then spoke about the plot of the movie about how Dwayne was trying to capture two art thieves - Gal and Ryan. Jimmy asked Gal if she had ever stolen anything.

'When I was in second grade, I stole a pack of markers from a friend of mine in class,' said Gal, who said her parents found out and she was so scared. 'Since then I've never tried to steal anything.'

Dwayne said he had been known over the course of his life to steal hearts.

Gal said she suspected Dwayne of being a robot because he remembers everyone's name. He said he does make an effort to know everyone's name on set.

Gal shared that she just had her third daughter four months ago. She said that both her co-stars Dwayne and Ryan had three daughters, too. Jimmy asked her if either of co-stars got her a gift and she said no. Dwayne told her that he had her gift with him  and gave her a Jimmy Kimmel coffee mug.

Red Notice was released in selected theaters on Last Friday followed by distribution on Netflix on November 12.
